Winterfell

Arya arrives at Winterfell.

  • "Arya arrives in Episode 4."

  • "[Arya is] going to spend most of the next season with Sansa at Winterfell, where Littlefinger is going to try and set the two sisters against each other."

  • [PM to conordmcmahon]: "We only SEE a couple of Bran flashbacks, but his ability comes into play a few times. He knows about Arya's list when they're reunited, and he knows what happened to Sansa with Ramsey."

Dragonstone

Conversation between Daenerys and Missandei about Grey Worm.

  • [PM to KaySen762 - in his words, no literal quote]: In episode 4 Missandei and Dany are having a female bonding session and Dany tells missandei not to worry Greyworm will return to her. Dany asks what happened between them and Missandei answers “many things”.  Dany realises they have had sex and asks “the pillar?” and Missandei answers “yes”.

  • [Grey Worm still has his "pillar"] "according to Missandei in a very shy 'girl talk' conversation with Dany shortly after."

Dragonstone

Jon leads Daenerys down to the caves below Dragonstone where they are mining Dragonglass (Report by WotW). She gets news of Casterly Rock and leaves to ambush the Lannister forces returning from Highgarden.

  • [PM to KaySen762]: "In episode 4 just before she leaves for the ambush he takes her down to the caves below Dragonstone where they are mining Dragonglass.
He shows her some cave paintings on the walls that look like the spiral things we've seen earlier in the series - they are the work of the Children of the Forest a very long time ago, from long before there were Targaryens or Starks or Lannisters.
Dany says maybe they are from before there were even men, but Jon shows her a picture that has 5 small figures with 3 larger ones - the Children of the Forest and the First Men fighting a common enemy - the White Walkers - there will be another painting of them too, with the Night King.
Jon says that this shows that despite the people of Westeros differences, this shows that there has always been a need for them to bad together against this enemy.
Dany says she believes him, and that she will help him. IF he bends the knee."

  • [PM to KaySen762]: "It's directly after this that she gets the news that while they may have taken Casterly Rock, it hasn't exactly been a victory and their troops are now cut off."

Dragonstone

Daenerys gets news of Casterly Rock and leaves to ambush the Lannister forces returning from Highgarden.

Between Highgarden and King's Landing

On their way to King's Landing, the Lannister / Tarly army with wagons full of gold and food from Highgarden gets ambushed. They are destroyed by Daenerys' forces of Dothraki and dragons. Drogon gets wounded by a ballista, Jaime and Bronn can barely escape.

  • "pretty much the last 3rd or so is the battle between Jaime's forces and the Dothraki/Dany/Drogon."

  • [PM to KaySen762][Drogon gets hit with a ballista]: "It puts him down, and while Dany is on the ground with him that's when Jaime makes a mad dash of an attack to try and kill her - Drogon turns at the last minute and blasts flame at him, and Bronn pushes Jaime off his horse (which is toast) and into the river beside him, where they see the flames burst over the surface. That's the end of Episode 4."

  • [The ballista is] "on wheels on a covered wagon. They will unveil it when she attacks, but we will see it in an earlier episode when Qyburn demonstrates it to Cersei by firing a bolt through one of the Dragon skulls in the Red Keep basement."

  • [PM to xOx_D-Targ6969_oXo]: "Ok, so Kings Landing is probably not quite accurate. It's actually on the road between Highgarden and King's Landing, when the Lannister troops are on their way back from defeating the Tyrell army."

  • [PM to xOx_D-Targ6969_oXo]: [Daenerys] "was coming to attack Jaime's troops after the defeat of one of her allies. Jon isn't involved in this attack - he stays at Dragonstone as Dany's 'guest' (he can't leave, she's had his boat taken away)."

  • [PM to xOx_D-Targ6969_oXo]: "Dany makes the impulsive decision to attack Jaime's forces - Jon has zero say in this. In fact it's this that causes Tyrion and Varys to worry if the Queen they've backed is unable to control her impulses."

  • [PM to maureencreates]: [The "ill advised attack"] "is actually on the road from Highgarden to Kings Landing. The Dothraki and Dany attack the Lannister army in its way back from destroying The Reach. Jaime and Bronn are there (with a giant anti-dragon spear gun created by Qyburn) but the army is defeated. Jaime and Bronn escape, but only just - Bronn saves Jaime from trying to attack a dragon head on himself. Jon isn't at this, he's not completely aligned with Dany at this point"

  • [4chan leaker]: "Randyll is leading a long procession of caravans and it is pretty much a slaughter of the lannisters by the the dothraki and drogon until bronn saves the day by downing a dragon with a harpoon arrow launcher thing named scorpion. [...] I meant by downing drogon obviously"

  • [4chan leaker]: "dany attacks randyll and dickons caravan loot train thing with drogon and horde of dothraki, jaime and bronn show up with their army, lots of lannister and tarly slaughter by team dany, bronn shoots and hits drogon with an arrow launching ballista, drogon goes down (but lives because plot armor), jaime sees that dany is vulnerable and charges at her, gets close to killing her but drogon is about to roast him so bronn runs in at the last second and saves him by knocking him into the water. tyrion is watching jaime ride to his death from the distance the whole time. then theres another underwater scene where bronn saves him from drowning".

  • [4chan leaker]: "jaime gets within an inch of blowing dany the fuck out until bronn cockblocks and knocks him into the water at the last second"

Location Unknown (Maybe at the battle site)

Daenerys lets Drogon burn some lords who survived the battle as traitors, including Randyll and Dickon Tarly (or Episode 5).

  • "Dany gets a bit… determined, now that she's set foot on Westeros. Which worries Varys and Tyrion, who have been hoping she isn't as power mad as her dad. She torches a few rulers to make some points (including Sam's Dad and brother), so she's clearly not above using fear to rule after all."

  • [PM to xOx_D-Targ6969_oXo]: "Tyrion isn't always successful - when they round up the survivors after this altercation the Tarlys are among them - Cersei had persuaded them earlier to switch allegiance from The Reach to her, on the basis that she was the one true Queen. Randal Tarly actually buys into this, and when Dany offers to let him bend the knee, he refuses. She orders Drogon to burn him and Dickon alive, which horrifies Tyrion - he can't see the point."

Dragonstone

Theon arrives at Dragonstone and has a confrontation with Jon.

  • "He does have a small reunion scene with Jon, who says that what Theon did for Sansa is the only reason he's not dead."

  • [PM to KaySen762]: “During Dany's absence Jon and Davos have a conversation with Missandei and Theon arrives back at Dragonstone. This is the first time Jon and Theon have seen each other since he left for the Wall. Jon looks like he's going to beat the shit out of Theon, but he tells him the only reason he doesn't is because of what he did for Sansa.”
